Balance Rituals Yoga was created as a place to bring together rituals for finding balance in mind & body, with a focus on removing discomfort in the body through calming the nervous system, breathwork, quieting the mind and slow intentional movement.

Whether you’re here to alleviate tension in a specific part of the body, looking to add extra movement in your routine, or focusing on the relaxation and stress relief aspects - this is the perfect place to start. 

Slow the mind & gently move the body to release tension, always practicing the principle of ahimsa i.e. non-harming and focusing on function over form.

Prior to completing my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Santosha Yoga Institute in 2021, I was a very different person. I had been stuck in a fight/flight survival loop for most of my life following a number of stressful events beginning when I was three.

I've now spent the last few years learning how to calm my nervous system & my very overactive survival focussed mind to gently ease my body out of stress mode. It has honestly been like melting after being frozen in time for so long. 

All of this is what brought me here, sharing my passion & what I have learned through my own research and practice in my own life, topics including - nervous system regulation, fascia release, stored emotions, emotional regulation, limiting beliefs, EFT/affirmations, rewiring the subconscious mind, and of course yoga in its entirety - breathwork, meditation, pranayama and asana (the postures).

I am so grateful to be here and to be sharing this with you.
